One tradition we have started over the last few years is to have a birthday breakfast of Payton's choice and put a candle in it. This morning we had pancakes and a good morning sunrise drink. We let him open one gift last night and a few this morning. He doesn't know that there are more presents when he gets home. I'll be dropping off a treat for school later too. I'm hoping to decorate with balloons and streamers before he gets home from school. I just want today to be extra special, just like he is to us.
