Last year Payton wrote a letter to Santa by himself, so again this year he did it. It's so neat because there's a mailbox downtown that you put Santa letters in, and magically, a personalized letter comes back. I was probably more impressed than Payton last year, but he was excited. I love this time of year. It's fun to do all the same traditions with the kids. And think of new one too. Payton is at the age where it's all magical. Rachel still doesn't fully understand everything, but she knows Santa and snow. Let the holiday season begin!

You send the letter to Santa, so you can't keep it. I was sad about that too...
