Sharing they were pregnant with Jaron, on a cake with their due date.
Today is my nephew Jaron's 7th birthday. That went really fast. I remember the day Amy and Ricky told us they were pregnant. I was SO excited. It was exciting to go through the pregnancy together on the phone every day. Amy would read to me from the different books. Letting me know that today the baby is the size of a lemon and all the other interesting things that happen in a pregnancy. I remember how excited I was to get the phone call in the middle of the night to hear "It's a BOY!!" I was SO happy! I also remember coming up to see him the day he got out of the hospital. It was so weird to see my sister being a mom for the first time. I wanted to help, but didn't know what to do. It was fun to just see a tiny baby that was so new. I guess he wasn't THAT tiny, 8lbs 2oz or so.
Payton loves to see his cousins and when I told him this morning that it's Jaron's birthday, he got excited and said "Do we get to go to his party today?!" He loves going to their house to play and especially loves to eat PIZZA at the party.

Thanks for posting this Marianne!! I can't believe I'm Mom to a 7-year old!!! The time has gone by so fast and it's so neat to see him becoming such a neat little man. I'm so proud of him!!! And yes...he was 8lbs 3oz.. Not small by any means...but smaller than Nolan's 9lbs. 2 oz.!! So does that mean if we have another he/she will be 10lbs. 3 oz.? Ahhhh...!!! :D
