It's amazing how fast time can go when you're happy. It's been 7 years ago today that Jim and I got married in Jamaica. We both agreed we didn't want to traditional church wedding for many reasons. But I did want a traditional dress and pictures. It turned out exactly how I had pictured. The weather was perfect, and everything else fell into place. I wouldn't change anything, except all my sisters being there.
Every year we do something special together. Our first anniversary we went to a hotel and went out for a really nice dinner. I hadn't been feeling well, but thought I had a touch of the flu. When we were done with dinner, I joked maybe we should buy a pregnancy test. So we did. I took it at the hotel and we nervously waited the longest 3 minutes EVER!! I saw it first... + , that's all I needed to know. Ours lives would be changed forever. We were so excited to find out we were expecting our first baby, while celebrating our anniversary. It's a nice story to tell Payton now.
Today we'll look back at pictures and watch our wedding video. It's always really fun to look back at the beginning. It's fun to see where it all began.
