100 days of school

Payton's kindergarten class will soon be celebrating their 100th day of school. The teacher wants the kids to count out 100 of something to put in a bag to display at school. I thought small elbow macaroni would be easy. Wrong. I start by having Payton hold the noodles and count. Too hard for me to help count. So I held the noodles and had him count. Wrong again. He was counting, but not the noodles, just counting. So then I counted with him out loud. That was working until we go to 90 something and he started eating the noodles!! AHHH! I ended up just counting them out by myself.

We did pennies. Jaron was SO excited because I let him keep them for his bank when he was finished. His bank oinks (piggy bank...get it?;)) everytime you put money in it. Guess what I heard for a good 1/2 hour?! LOL

Kait has to do the same thing. I asked her what she wanted to take and she said stuffed animals.
