30 years ago

Today is my *30th* birthday!! I didn't know how I'd feel about it. It's not old, but it sounds more mature. I'm in a happier place in my life than even 3 years ago. It's amazing how you know things about yourself, but you don't fully trust that feeling. I feel comfortable with my looks, the way I think, and the person I am today. I try to see things through other people's eyes and have empathy and sympathy. A lot of the way I live my life is because of parents. They taught me to be honest and caring. And they tried to make me stop calling my sisters retards, but that didn't work. I'm still working on not worrying about what others think about me, but I know that'll come with time. I try to live life being grateful for all that I have, and not worry about what I don't have. It's tough sometimes, but I know I have all that I need without all the material things. Happiness, Love and Family. Happy Birthday to me.
