Yesterday I was hit with some nasty bug that kept me in the bathroom and on the couch all day. Jim took the kids by himself to his parent's house for Thanksgiving dinner while I rested. As all the mom's know, nothing stops for us when you're sick. Jim is a very helpful guy, but since we weren't home the day before, the house was kind of out of order. He still has a sore leg and is having some back pain too. This morning we found ourselves in a big mess. I felt much better, but still not 100% back to normal, but I figured I couldn't let the house go any further. I cleaned and sanitized everything and aired the house out some. Jim went to Walmart for the first time in about 6 weeks. We needed a few important items and a birthday present for Payton's classmate. As I was home cleaning, Payton said the sweetest thing ever. He looked up at me and said, "Mommy, I wish I could clean for you so you could just lay down and rest." *Sniff* Isn't that the cutest thing EVER?! It really makes you proud and appreciate your kids when they say that kind of stuff. He can really melt your heart most of the time.

Alright, that's so cute! Payton saying he wishes he could clean it up for you. What a cute kid! I'm so glad you're feeling better! I seriously feel your pain. I was right there with you ON thanksgiving! What did we catch?! It must be some blogging bug.
I am jealous you got to watch "What not to wear!" I don't have that channel.
