The other night we had open house for school. We got to find out who will be Payton's kindergarten teacher. We also toured the school and met some of the other teachers. Payton knows some of the other kids in his class through preschool, so it made him and me feel a little better. His teacher is expecting her first baby in October, so he'll get to have a substitute for about six weeks. That'll be fun too. Tuesday he'll have a scavenger hunt through out the school to help him get more comfortable with where everything will be found. He keeps saying he wished it were Tuesday already. I'm so happy he is excited and he doesn't seem scared or sad at all. I'm just hoping I don't cry when I leave on Wednesday. Luckily Jim will be with me both days and I know he won't cry. I'm so proud of Payton!!

Oh he's getting so big!!! He has his own locker?! Sweet. I am sure he'll LOVE school!! Did you get the memo about how much more free time you'll have?!!? :)
