Today Jim celebrates his 31st birthday. Last year he kept saying he didn't want a party or anything big. He actually always says not to buy him anything too. This year, I was able to suprise him twice!! He needed a new bowling bag, and I knew what one he had been talking about wanting. I set up a new email address, so he woulnd't see any of the notifications. Tuesday night he was on the computer and I asked if he was snooping around. Oops, no he wasn't. So I HAD to tell him what I meant, so he wouldn't think anything weird. He was so excited and really surprised. Wrong day, but I got him. Yesterday I called his golfing buddy to see if he would go out with Jim today. He had to pull some strings, but he made it happen. I wasn't going to tell Jim until this morning, but he would have wondered why he had to get up early. I asked what would be a special wish that would make him so happy on his birthday...beside win the lottery. He said go golfing with Keith. I smiled and said it's taken care of already. He'll be here at 7:30. He was so surprised and very happy. This is a fun way to start off our holiday weekend.
