5 childhood summer memories~
1. I remember traveling in general as a child all summer. We drove accross the country one summer down through Texas through New Mexico and Arizona and back up through the four corners. It was fun and we got to see a lot of the country that summer.
2. I loved the summer between freshman and sophmore year, I got to fly out to California alone to stay with Colleen for a few weeks. I remember that was my first "real" salon expirence that I got styling tips for my fuzzy hair. I learned to round brush my hair and use product in it. I'd been to the salon before, but nobody showed me what to do with me frizzy hair. Definately a GOOD memory.
3. I remember being on swim team (which Jim laughs that I was into sports!) and living at the swimming pool each summer. I usually ended up with greeish hair from all the chlorine. I just had so much fun with all my friends every day. Then on Saturdays for the meets, we'd get our sleeping bags all lined up and just stuff our faces with goodies from the bake sale. Looking back, I'm surprised we could even swim after that!!
4. The summer between my sophmore and junior year, I got a job up in the Dells at Goody Goody Gum Drop with Angie. It was a fun and crazy time. Too many things to share, but again, I'm surprised we got any work done, we had so much fun and laughing attacks.
5.I wasn't a kid, but I loved the summer after I graduated high school. I went to Washington D.C. with my mom. I love U.S. history so it was interesting to visit all the historical buildings. When I got back, I hung out with a guy named Tony. Robyn and I would go play pool or darts at his house. One day he said he had a friend that could hang out with us, but he said "You'll probably like him better than me." Well, the rest is history...it was Jim and we've been together ever since.
I just went to look for pictures for each memory. I found a couple, but I don't have time to do it now. I'll try to post pictures later. I'm sure I can find something for each one.
Please post your memories in the comment area or on your blog.
Thanks!!

So who was it that introduced you to Tony?
